While on Instagram last night I saw a post that quite frankly peeved me. I saw a certain off the rack discontinued designer wedding gown store posting a Maggie Sottero wedding gown that was discontinued a few months ago with a completely false MSRP price far above what we as an authorized retailer sold it for as a brand new made to order gown for our customers. They claimed an MSRP of $2,200 and their “sale” price being $1,598. The actual MSRP of this gown when it was BRAND NEW not a discontinued one of a kind was $1,598. This specific gown is part of an event they are having for more discontinued gowns from the designer in which are misrepresenting and also charging admission for?! Don’t be fooled into thinking you’re getting a smokin’ deal on a designer gown ladies from this place and don’t waste your money on an “admission” fee to get a preview of DISCONTINUED wedding gowns.
Our upcoming Maggie Sottero Trunk Show (Friday, August 5th- Sunday, August 7th) and our Sottero and Midgley Trunk Show (Friday, August 12th- Sunday, August 14th) are events when 15 additional brand new styles from the Fall 2016 Collections are in-store. These new styles are the newest and most beautiful styles in the bridal industry. The Maggie Sottero “Lisette” Collection is “A beautiful fusion of ethereal elegance and modern romance, designed to enchant today’s classic bride. The Lisette Collection by Maggie Sottero offers a full array of romantic hues along with decadent designs appealing to the traditional bride.” Instead of charging you to attend we are actually giving brides 15% of the dress purchase towards accessories. That means a brand new dress made just for you, free stuff, and no admission fee (as we have always done as an authorized retailer and will continue to do.) So why would anyone EVER want to go to the discontinued wedding gown preview party???
